Oven

Quick Start Guide

Check that the clock is set: the oven will not work without it. If needed, hold the cooking-time and end-time buttons (second and third from the left), adjust the time with + or −, then release.

  1. For ordinary manual cooking, press the hand-symbol button (fourth from the left) to leave automatic mode; AUTO should disappear.

  2. Turn the thermostat knob to the required temperature, then turn the function knob to Fan Cooking (the fan-in-a-circle symbol) at six o’clock on the dial for fan-oven cooking. The light to the right of the thermostat knob will go out when the temperature is reached, there is no sounder.

  3. To set the timer: Press and hold the first button beneath the clock (bell symbol), while holding it, use the + or − buttons (the last two buttons) to set the time, e.g. 30 minutes. Release the buttons. When the time expires, an alarm sounds, but the oven continues heating. Press the bell button to silence the alarm.

  4. When finished, turn both the function and thermostat knobs to their top/off positions and leave the door closed while the oven cools. Leave the mains supply on: the cooling fan may run for another 20–30 minutes.
